What is TopCopilot?

TopCopilot is a Word / Excel / WPS add-in that runs on Windows: you can translate documents directly in the sidebar and try to retain the original layout. There is no need to copy the content to the web page and then paste it back to re-layout.

What is the difference between TopCopilot and Word / WPS built-in translations?

The built-in translation is suitable for quick query of short sentences; TopCopilot is suitable for the scenario where "the entire contract, paper, and quotation form must be translated in the original document and the layout should not be messy."

What Office and WPS versions are supported?

Windows 10 / 11 + Word / Excel 2016+ or WPS 2023+, you need to be connected to the Internet and log in by scanning the WeChat QR code.

Has the installation package undergone third-party security testing?

Yes. The Windows installation package provided on the official website will be tested by the 360 ​​Software Open Platform before release, and will be provided after passing the test; you can also query the corresponding records on the platform.

The 360 software open platform conducts security testing on the software on the shelves. After passing the testing, the download information can be displayed on the platform for users to check the software qualifications and security status.

What technologies are used for translation with the AI capability?

Translation and AI dialogue requests will be forwarded to third-party large models (such as DeepSeek) via the TopCopilot service, and infrastructure such as Tencent Cloud will be used; the server does not persist the translation text.

The current translation engine has been upgraded to DeepSeek V4 Flash official version (see Change log and Engine upgrade instructions）。 DeepSeek Provides large model capabilities; infrastructure such as accounts, billing, and object storage are hosted by Tencent Cloud.

In order to complete translation, AI dialogue and other functions, TopCopilot will call DeepSeek, Tencent Cloud and other third-party API; the text you submit will be sent to the third-party server for processing. Please do not enter sensitive information such as ID number, bank card number, password, business secrets, etc.

What office scenarios is TopCopilot suitable for?
